Stephanie’s passion for family law began while she was a student at Rice University, where she volunteered with the Houston Area Women’s Center. Working with survivors of domestic violence gave her an early appreciation for the profound impact family lawyers can have on their clients’ lives, and Stephanie has devoted her practice exclusively to family law.

Stephanie is an experienced litigator who has represented clients in temporary hearings, mediations, bench trials, and jury trials throughout Texas. She believes that successful advocacy begins long before trial, with careful preparation, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of both the law and the facts. Clients appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to distill complicated legal and financial issues into practical advice.

Stephanie enjoys the analytical challenges that often accompany complex property cases. She is particularly drawn to matters involving difficult financial questions, where careful analysis and a thorough understanding of the facts can make a meaningful difference in the outcome. She regularly represents clients in cases involving separate and community property characterization, tracing, reimbursement claims, and business valuations. She also has experience in custody matters, including those involving the UCCJEA and the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.

Outside of her practice, Stephanie is an avid runner, and she can often be found running at White Rock Lake or on the Katy Trail with her husband, daughter, and chocolate lab.
