DALLAS – Seven Estes Thorne & Carr attorneys – Dawn Estes, Jessica Thorne, Lori Carr, Carol Payne, Katherine Anand, Lindsay Daye Barbee and Abby Ewing – have been selected by their peers to The Best Lawyers in America.

Recognized among the nation’s top commercial litigators were Dawn Estes, Jessica Thorne, Carol Payne and Katherine Anand, were recognized among the nation’s top commercial litigators. It is the fifth selection for Ms. Estes, the eighth for Ms. Thorne and 15th for Ms. Payne. It is the first for Ms. Anand.
Additionally, Ms. Estes was recognized for her arbitration practice. Ms. Payne earned additional honors for her construction litigation and legal malpractice defense work.
In addition to her commercial litigation selection, Ms. Thorne was one of three firm partners honored for their work in family law.
Also earning family law practice selection were Ms. Ewing and Ms. Barbee. It is the third selection for Ms. Ewing and the first for Ms. Barbee. Ms. Thorne and Ms. Ewing each received additional recognition for their work in collaborative law.
Ms. Carr was recognized for a ninth time for her labor and employment-related litigation practice as well as her employment law representation of management.
