We may still have two more months of 2023 to go, but no doubt about it – from a big anniversary to a name change to a humbling number of honors — we have had a lot to celebrate in 2023.  

Best Lawyers has ranked Estes Thorne Ewing & Payne as a 2024 Tier 1 Best Law Firm for our commercial litigation, family law, arbitration, ethics and professional responsibility law and labor & employment litigation practices.  

A prerequisite for Best Law Firms inclusion is having at least one firm attorney named to The Best Lawyers in America list. “At least one”? Well, let’s just say, we crushed that requirement, as earlier this year seven of our outstanding colleagues were selected to the prestigious legal guide’s most recent edition, with an additional three attorneys named to the companion Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list. 

But it takes more to be a Best Law Firm than even being able to count 10 Best Lawyers among your ranks. The research department at Best Lawyers tells us that selection is based on client feedback, practice-specific peer review, and rigorous editorial evaluation and that recognition serves as an indication of a firm’s credibility within the legal community.
