* Since the first selection in 2006, collectively our attorneys have earned Best Lawyers honors a total of 85 times.
But we’re attorneys and we know there is always more to the story than just simple numbers. And in our case, it’s a story we’re pretty proud to share.

Collectively, partners Dawn Estes, Jessica Thorne,  Carol Payne, and Linda Moore have earned Best Lawyers honors for their commercial litigation work an impressive 30 times. Joining this elite group is associate Stephanie Matherne, who this year earned her first Ones to Watch selection among the top young litigators in the country.

Additionally, Dawn was recognized for her arbitration work. Carol was also honored for her construction litigation practice, as well as her legal malpractice defense work and in the area of ethics and professional responsibility law.

Our firm also is home to three of the most respected family law attorneys in Texas, Jessica Thorne, Abby Ewing, and Stephanie Matherne, who share among them a combined 21 Best Lawyers honors. In addition to their general family law honors, Jessica and Abby were also recognized for their collaborative family law practices.

Lori Carr earned multiple honors for her work in the areas of management employment law, labor and employment litigation, and union labor law.
