Ours is a story 16 years in, and still going strong.  

Launched in 2008, we made immediate headlines for being one of Texas’ rare women-owned law firms. While we have carried that mantle proudly, it’s never been the focus of our practice.  

From Day One, our purpose has been to provide clients with the sophisticated representation our founding partners honed from their years of “big firm” practice, but in a much more personalized, flexible fashion.  

Sixteen years can pass in a flash so it’s nice to stop, take a deep breath and look back on your path. We’ve successfully represented hundreds of Fortune 100 companies, entrepreneurs and individual clients in everything from bet-the-company litigation to high-stakes family law matters. Our attorneys have earned numerous prestigious national, regional and local professional honors. We’ve welcomed valued team members and, inevitably, have also thrown some going away parties.  And like some of you, we’ve gone through a few name changes as well.  

Yes, a lot will change over the course of 16 years, but one thing that has not, and never will change for the attorneys and staff of Estes Thorne Ewing & Payne is our dedication and sincere appreciation of our clients, friends and colleagues.
